About Us
CaminoBeds was born in 2025 in Bercianos del Real Camino, a small village in León where the Camino de Santiago is lived every day. After years managing a Camino hostel since 2017 (Albergue Bercianos 1900), the need arose to create a platform that facilitates accommodation booking for pilgrims.
From within the Camino itself, we identified a clear need: to improve communication between pilgrims and hostels. That's why CaminoBeds accompanies pilgrims at every stage of the Camino de Santiago, offering a responsible, safe and simple way to book accommodation, so that rest becomes part of the journey rather than another worry.
Therefore, CaminoBeds' mission is to connect hostels and pilgrims in a simple, clear way adapted to the real experience of the Camino.
CaminoBeds is committed to a more human, close and peaceful way of travelling and managing accommodation, where booking is not a concern and rest is a natural part of the journey.

2. Website purpose
This Legal Notice regulates the access, browsing and use of the website owned by GETBEDS S.L., whose purpose is to offer an online intermediation platform for the booking of beds and accommodation in hostels, guesthouses and other establishments located on the Camino de Santiago, as well as the possible contracting of complementary services related to the pilgrim experience.
CaminoBeds acts solely as a technological intermediary, facilitating contact and booking management between users and accommodations, without being the owner, manager or directly responsible for the accommodation services offered.
3. General conditions of access
Access to and use of the website confers the status of User and implies full and unreserved acceptance of this Legal Notice.
The User commits to:
- Use the website in accordance with current legislation, good faith and public order.
- Not carry out illicit, fraudulent activities or activities that may harm third parties.
- Not damage, disable or overload the Owner's computer systems.
- Not attempt to access restricted areas or other users' accounts without authorization.
GETBEDS S.L. reserves the right to modify, update or delete the content of the website, as well as this Legal Notice, at any time without prior notice.
4. Liability
GETBEDS S.L. acts as an intermediation platform between users and accommodation establishments.
The Owner is not the proprietor of the advertised accommodations nor directly responsible for the final provision of the accommodation service, which corresponds exclusively to each establishment.
GETBEDS S.L. shall not be liable for the effective availability of places, the quality of the service provided by the accommodations or any damages arising from the contractual relationship between the user and the establishment.
Likewise, the Owner is not responsible for possible technical errors, service interruptions, security failures or incidents arising from misuse of the website.
5. Personal data protection
The processing of users' personal data will be carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, and other applicable regulations.

6. Intellectual and industrial property
All content on the website (including texts, images, logos, trademarks, graphic design, structure, source code and other elements) is owned by GETBEDS S.L. or it holds the necessary rights for its use.
Its reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation without the prior express authorization of the Owner is prohibited.
7. Applicable law
This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute that may arise from access to or use of the website, the parties shall submit to the Courts and Tribunals that are competent in accordance with applicable regulations.
II. Conditions of Use
1. Access and user registration
Access to the GETBEDS S.L. website is free of charge. Registration is not required to browse the platform or consult accommodation information.
To formalize a booking, the user must provide the personal data necessary for its correct management. GETBEDS may allow bookings without mandatory prior registration, automatically create an account associated with the email address provided, and offer the user the possibility of activating their account by creating a password.
The user may register using a traditional form (email and password) or through external authentication systems via providers such as Google or Apple.
When using external authentication systems, the user authorizes GETBEDS to receive the basic identification data provided by said providers, in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
The user guarantees that the data provided is truthful, complete and up-to-date. GETBEDS may request additional verification when there are reasonable indications of fraudulent use or platform manipulation.
The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials, all activities carried out from their account, and reporting any unauthorized access.
GETBEDS may suspend or cancel accounts when it detects fraudulent use, manipulation of the review system or breach of the Conditions of Use.
The user may request the cancellation of their account at any time, without prejudice to legal obligations that may require the retention of certain data.
2. Platform usage rules
The user commits to using the GETBEDS S.L. platform in accordance with current legislation, good faith, public order and these Conditions.
The use of the platform for illicit, fraudulent purposes or purposes that may harm the rights or interests of third parties is prohibited.
The user may not:
- Manipulate the booking system, availability or prices.
- Make false bookings or bookings with incorrect data.
- Use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.
- Introduce viruses, malware or any element that could damage computer systems.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts without authorization.
- Alter or interfere with the technical functioning of the platform.
- Use the review system for defamatory or manipulative purposes.
The user commits to publishing only opinions based on their real experience, maintaining a respectful tone and not including personal data of third parties.
Abusive use of the rating system may lead to account suspension.
GETBEDS S.L. may remove content, temporarily suspend the account, permanently cancel access or take appropriate legal measures in case of breach of these rules.
The user must refrain from any action that could compromise the security, stability or proper functioning of the website.
3. Verified reviews system
GETBEDS S.L. operates through a verified booking system, meaning that every booking made through the platform is electronically recorded in its internal systems.
A booking will be considered verified when it:
- Has been formalized through the platform.
- Has received automatic confirmation from the system.
- Has been validated by the corresponding accommodation.
- Has not been cancelled in accordance with applicable conditions.
Verified bookings form the basis for generating verified reviews, managing incidents, calculating ratings and anti-fraud control.
GETBEDS may carry out additional checks when there are indications of fraudulent use of the system.
The platform may cancel or block bookings when it detects false data, automated use (bots), system manipulation or evident risk of fraud.
4. Scoring system (1 to 10)
Ratings are made using a numerical scale from 1 to 10, with decimals permitted. The average accommodation score will be displayed with one decimal place.
Upon completion of the stay, the user will receive a survey in their user area and a link via email to rate the experience. The user may rate the following aspects:
- Cleanliness
- Location
- Service received
- Facilities
- Value for money
- Food
The overall score may result from the automatic average of said subcategories or from a technical system configurable by the platform. GETBEDS S.L. reserves the right to adjust the technical calculation criteria in order to improve the reliability of the system.
The numerical score may be represented by a prominent numerical value (for example, 8.7 / 10), a proportional graphic bar and up to five distinctive GETBEDS brand icons (mini pilgrims) as an illustrative representation.
The graphic representation is complementary and does not replace the numerical calculation system.
Only users with a verified booking may publish reviews. Reviews may be submitted up to six (6) months after the date of stay.
When the overall score given is below four (4), the review may be subject to internal review before publication, in order to verify compliance with usage rules and ensure the veracity of the content.
This review does not imply alteration of the rating, but verification of compliance with the Conditions of Use. If necessary, additional information may be requested from the user or the accommodation.
The accommodation's overall average score will not be visible until at least five (5) verified reviews have been received.
5. Graphic representation (mini pilgrims)
The numerical score of accommodations may be visually represented by graphic elements distinctive of the GETBEDS S.L. brand, including distinctive icons (mini pilgrims), progress bars or other visual resources.
Said representation is merely illustrative and complementary, without replacing in any case the numerical score expressed on the 1 to 10 scale.
The graphic representation will be proportional to the numerical score obtained, without automatic or fixed equivalence between the number of icons displayed and the exact score.
The numerical score will always be the reference value.
The platform may display:
- Prominent numerical score (e.g. 8.7 / 10).
- Proportional graphic bar.
- Up to five (5) distinctive brand icons (mini pilgrims).
GETBEDS S.L. may modify the visual design of the graphic representation without altering the calculation system.
The graphic icons used are part of the visual identity of GETBEDS S.L. and may not be reproduced, distributed or used without express authorization.
6. Right of reply for accommodations
Accommodations registered on the platform may publicly respond to reviews published by users. The response will be shown alongside the corresponding review.
Each accommodation may issue a single response per published review. The generation of threaded conversations or successive replies is not permitted.
Responses must:
- Maintain a respectful and professional tone.
- Not include the user's personal data.
- Not contain offensive expressions, threats or accusations.
- Not violate the rights of third parties.
- Not use the response for advertising purposes unrelated to the content of the review.
GETBEDS S.L. may review, limit or remove responses that breach these Conditions of Use. Moderation does not imply alteration of the original review content.
The right of reply aims to ensure informational balance between users and accommodations. GETBEDS acts as a neutral intermediary and does not take a position on the substance of published opinions, except when necessary to verify compliance with the rules.
7. Moderation and content removal
GETBEDS S.L. may review, supervise, moderate or remove content published on the platform when necessary to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and these Conditions.
This power includes, among others, reviews and ratings, accommodation responses and any other user-generated content.
GETBEDS may remove or limit the visibility of content that:
- Is illicit or contrary to current legislation.
- Contains false or manifestly inaccurate information.
- Includes offensive, discriminatory language or threats.
- Violates the rights of third parties.
- Contains unauthorized personal data.
- Constitutes abusive use of the review system.
- May seriously affect the reputation of third parties without objective basis.
When content is subject to review, GETBEDS may request additional information from the user or accommodation, temporarily suspend publication while the case is analyzed, and make a reasoned decision based on objective criteria.
Any person may report the existence of allegedly illicit content by communication to the contact address designated by the platform.
The notification must include:
- Clear identification of the affected content.
- Reason for the complaint.
- Contact details of the applicant.
GETBEDS will evaluate the request and take the corresponding measures, endeavoring to respond within a reasonable period.
GETBEDS acts as a digital intermediary and does not assume responsibility for user-generated content, without prejudice to its obligation to act diligently when it has effective knowledge of the illegality of the content.
In case of repeated breaches, GETBEDS may temporarily suspend the account, permanently cancel access or take appropriate legal measures.
8. Accommodation positioning criteria
GETBEDS S.L. displays available accommodations through a ranking system based on objective and technical criteria aimed at offering the best user experience.
The display order does not constitute a personalized recommendation unless expressly indicated.
The position of accommodations may depend, among others, on the following factors:
- Availability on the selected dates.
- Location within the corresponding stage.
- Average rating obtained through verified reviews.
- Number of reviews received.
- Quality and completeness of the information provided by the accommodation.
- Accommodation reliability history.
- Technical factors aimed at optimizing the user experience.
GETBEDS may adjust the relative weight of said factors in order to improve the quality of the service.
GETBEDS may modify the technical positioning criteria to adapt them to system improvements, without the need for individual communication to users.
9. Account suspension or cancellation
GETBEDS S.L. may temporarily suspend the access of a user or accommodation when there are reasonable indications of breach of these Conditions.
The suspension may be applied while the situation is analyzed or additional information is requested.
Suspension or cancellation may proceed in case of:
- Fraudulent use of the platform.
- Manipulation of the booking or review system.
- Repeated publication of content contrary to the rules.
- Provision of false or inaccurate data.
- Breach of contractual obligations.
- Behavior that seriously affects the reputation or functioning of the platform.
In case of serious or repeated breaches, GETBEDS may permanently cancel the user's or accommodation's account.
When possible, GETBEDS will inform the affected party of the measure taken and the general reason supporting it.
The affected user or accommodation may request an internal review of the measure taken, by communication addressed to the contact address designated by the platform.
GETBEDS will evaluate the request and issue a response within a reasonable period, making a reasoned decision based on objective and proportional criteria.
Account cancellation will not necessarily imply the immediate deletion of all data, when there is a legal or contractual obligation of retention.
The measures taken will be proportional to the severity of the detected infringement.
10. Compliance with the Digital Services Act (DSA)
GETBEDS S.L. operates as a digital intermediation platform that allows users to access information about accommodations and make bookings through it.
In this regard, it acts as an information society service provider in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on Digital Services.
GETBEDS guarantees transparency in accommodation positioning criteria, the verified review system, score representation and the conditions for account suspension or cancellation.
Information regarding these systems is contained in these Conditions.
The platform has a mechanism for any person to report allegedly illicit content or content contrary to applicable regulations.
Notifications must include:
- Clear identification of the affected content.
- Reason for the complaint.
- Contact details of the notifier.

GETBEDS will evaluate the notification and take appropriate measures within a reasonable period.
When GETBEDS has effective knowledge of the existence of illicit content, it will act with due diligence for its removal or limitation of access.
In case of repeated breach of the rules, GETBEDS may take proportionate measures, including the suspension or cancellation of accounts.
GETBEDS acts as a digital intermediary and does not assume responsibility for user-generated content, without prejudice to its obligation to act diligently when appropriate.
III. General Contracting Conditions
1. Identification of the parties
These General Contracting Conditions regulate the relationship between GETBEDS S.L., with registered office at Calle Mayor 49, Bercianos del Real Camino, León, Spain (Tax ID: B24822249), owner of the digital booking platform (hereinafter, 'GETBEDS' or the 'Platform').
GETBEDS acts as a digital intermediary between users and accommodations.
A User is considered to be any natural person of legal age or legal entity that accesses the platform and makes an accommodation booking or uses the services offered.
The User declares having sufficient legal capacity to contract.
An Accommodation or Provider is considered to be the establishment registered on the platform that offers accommodation services or complementary services linked to the Camino de Santiago.
The Accommodation acts as the final service provider and is solely responsible for its correct execution, regulatory compliance and tax obligations.
The booking made through the platform creates a direct contractual relationship between the User and the Accommodation, as well as an intermediation relationship between the User and GETBEDS regarding the use of the platform and booking management.
GETBEDS is not a party to the accommodation contract nor does it assume direct responsibility for the provision of the final service.
GETBEDS receives a commission from the Accommodation for bookings managed through the platform.
The User does not pay an additional commission to GETBEDS for the use of the intermediation service, unless expressly indicated otherwise during the booking process.
2. Purpose of the intermediation
GETBEDS S.L. makes available to users a digital platform designed to facilitate the search, comparison and booking of accommodations located on the Camino de Santiago, as well as, where applicable, the contracting of complementary services linked to the pilgrim experience.
GETBEDS acts exclusively as a digital intermediary between the User and the Accommodation. Its function is to facilitate access to information about accommodations, enable the formalization of bookings through the platform and technically manage the booking process.
Payment management may be carried out under two modalities:
- GETBEDS may manage the collection of the total or partial amount of the booking on behalf of the Accommodation, subsequently proceeding with its settlement in accordance with the established contractual agreements.
- Payment may be made directly to the Accommodation, in which case GETBEDS will receive the agreed commission according to the agreement signed with the Accommodation.
In both cases, GETBEDS acts as an intermediary in the transaction and not as a direct provider of the accommodation service.
GETBEDS is not the owner, manager or operator of the accommodations offered on the platform.
The provision of the accommodation service corresponds exclusively to the selected Accommodation, which assumes responsibility for the quality of service, regulatory compliance, stay conditions and fiscal and administrative obligations.
Should additional services be offered (for example, backpack transport or other related services), GETBEDS will also act as an intermediary, unless expressly stated otherwise.
GETBEDS' intermediation is limited to the digital environment of the platform and does not imply direct participation in the material execution of the contracted service.
3. Booking process
CaminoBeds is a digital intermediation platform that allows users to book places in accommodations located on various routes of the Camino de Santiago. CaminoBeds acts exclusively as an intermediary in the management of the booking and payment, not being the owner, manager or directly responsible for the booked accommodation.
The accommodation contract is concluded directly between the user and the corresponding accommodation.
To formalize a booking, the user must:
- Select accommodation, date and number of places.
- Choose the available rate type.
- Enter the requested personal data.
- Expressly accept the Conditions of Use.
- Complete the online payment through the enabled means.
The user declares being of legal age and having legal capacity to contract. They commit to providing truthful and up-to-date data.
The booking will be considered confirmed only when the user receives electronic confirmation from CaminoBeds.
Payment modalities
Online payment: In this modality, the total amount is paid at the time of booking. CaminoBeds manages the collection on behalf of the accommodation and settles the amounts fortnightly.
Direct payment at accommodation: In this modality, payment is made directly at the accommodation on the day of arrival. CaminoBeds acts solely as an intermediary in the booking management.
Rate modalities
Each booking may be contracted under one of the following modalities:
Standard Rate
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival day. After this period, the booking will be non-refundable. In case of no-show without cancellation within the established period, the total booking amount will be settled to the accommodation, with no right to refund.
Etapa Flex Rate
The Etapa Flex Rate is an optional service that allows booking modification in response to changes inherent to the Camino. It does not constitute insurance nor does it guarantee financial reimbursement.
The user may request a date change or relocation to another accommodation adhering to the Etapa Flex Rate until 18:00 hours on the day of arrival, subject to actual availability. Only one change per booking will be permitted.
In case of no-show without a modification request before 18:00 hours on the day of arrival:
- 70% of the amount will be settled to the accommodation as compensation.
- The remaining 30% will be converted into CaminoBeds credit.
- The Etapa Flex Rate supplement will not be refundable.
The generated credit will be valid for 7 days, will not be redeemable for cash or transferable to third parties, and may only be used in accommodations adhering to the Etapa Flex Rate.
Relocation is subject to actual availability. In case of no immediate availability, the credit will remain active during the indicated period. CaminoBeds does not guarantee an automatic alternative booking.
The Etapa Flex Rate does not allow voluntary cancellation with financial reimbursement. However, in case of duly accredited objective and serious impossibility (accident, hospitalization or equivalent cause), CaminoBeds may exceptionally consider a total or partial refund of the amount paid. Such refund does not constitute an automatic right and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Bookings will be settled to the accommodations on a fortnightly basis, once the corresponding stay date has ended.
4. Confirmation and payment
Booking confirmation will be subject to the correct completion of the payment process, where applicable, and receipt of the confirmation email.
Online Payment
In this modality, the user pays the total amount at the time of booking through a secure payment gateway. CaminoBeds manages the collection on behalf of the accommodation and carries out the settlement on a fortnightly basis.
Direct Payment at the Accommodation
In this modality, payment is made directly at the accommodation on the day of arrival. CaminoBeds acts exclusively as an intermediary in the booking management.
Security and Payment Gateway
Online payments are managed through external providers that comply with European PSD2 regulations and applicable security standards. CaminoBeds does not store complete bank card data.
Taxes and Fees
Prices include applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise. Mandatory tourist taxes may be paid directly at the accommodation if so indicated.
Price Errors
In case of a manifest price error due to technical or human failure, CaminoBeds may cancel the booking and proceed with a full refund of the amount paid.
CaminoBeds Credit
The credit will not be redeemable for cash, will not be transferable and may only be used within the indicated period in accommodations adhering to the Etapa Flex Rate.
Cancellation due to Justified Serious Cause
In case of duly accredited objective and serious impossibility (accident, hospitalization or equivalent cause), CaminoBeds may exceptionally consider a total or partial refund of the amount paid.
Refunds and Deadlines
Refunds, when applicable under these conditions, will be made using the same payment method used for the booking within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from acceptance of the request. Non-refundable financial charges or gateway commissions may be deducted from the amount to be returned when legally applicable.
Limitation of Liability
CaminoBeds shall not be liable for the effective provision of the accommodation service or incidents arising therefrom, being the exclusive responsibility of the accommodation.
Data Protection
The processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable regulations, as established in the Privacy Policy.
Modification of Conditions
CaminoBeds may modify these conditions at any time, with the conditions in force at the time of booking being applicable.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These conditions shall be governed by Spanish law. In case of conflict, the parties shall submit to the courts and tribunals of the consumer's domicile in accordance with applicable regulations.
